How to Play

Play Cartoon Network Toon Cup 2019 online for free. Toon Cup 2019 is a cartoon-themed soccer game. Score goals and use power ups to gain an edge over your opponents. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Click or tap on the white play button on the game’s welcome screen to bring up the game overview screen.
Choose to play a quick match or a tournament using the associated buttons at the bottom center of the screen. For quick match your characters will automatically be chosen for you.
- For tournament select the country you would like to play.
- Next, pick your three team members. The third player you pick will be the player engaging in kickoffs.
- Characters and their attributes are highlighted in a table further down this page.
- You can earn points playing the game which can be used for upgrades. Player attributes and point totals are automatically stored in your local web browser.
- Countries
  - Players can select which country they want to play for. The following countries are featured in the game.
    - Asia Pacific – Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
    - Americas – Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela.
    - Eastern Europe – Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
    - Western Europe – Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, and Wales.

    - Games & Tournaments
      - Individual games last a minute and thirty seconds. When time is expired if the score is tied the game continues until someone scores a goal.
      - The Toon Cup tournament has three rounds of matches: quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. Tournament rounds also last 1:30 each.
      - Unlockables
        This game features 6 unlockable characters which you can buy for 450 points each: Raven, XLR8, Onion, Kelsey, Batgirl, and BMO.
        Game Controls
        Keyboard
        Use the arrow keys to move your player around the playing field.
        Tap the space bar to pass the ball to another player in the direction you are facing or to softly kick the ball in that direction.
        This game does not have any out of bounds area. The ball bounces off of walls and stays in play.
        Scoring a goal
        When you are close to the goal you can take a shot on goal by pressing the space bar and holding it in and releasing when you want to kick.
        There is a power bar where you have to get the power in the right range to kick with sufficient power to get the ball past the goalie. In some rare cases you might get it past the goalie without a power kick, though doing so is quite rare.
        You can use the arrow keys to aim your shot.
        Defense
        Press the space bar to tackle competing players.
        Touch devices
        Your device must be held horizontally for the game to play.
        The lower left corner of the screen has a pink direction pad.
        The lower right corner of the screen has a blue action button which is used to pass, shoot, and tackle.
        Some touchscreen devices with a high pixel density may be perceived as being desktop devices. Lowering the screen resolution settings or attaching a keyboard should allow you to play in these scenarios.
        Strategy
        Character selection
        The most important aspect of this game is player speed. Be sure to fill your team with fast players or else you will get tackled a lot.
        Wonder Woman is the strongest character.
        The third character you choose is the one who will start off with the ball or be the player who tries to tackle the opposing player when they start off with the ball. Make sure this player is fast.
        Defense
        The computer automatically selects the closest player on defense, so be prepared for your player to shift repeatedly if you miss a tackle or are a slow character.
        Movement
        If you walk in a straight line it is quite easy for the computer to tackle you and take the ball from you.
        I generally prefer to walk in 45 degree angle by holding right and down or right and up, making it harder for the opposing team to tackle me.
        Scoring
        I usually shoot shots on goal from the bottom half of the screen with a slight up angle on them. I figure being in the near side of the screen makes it easier to see relative spacing.
        If your shot angle is off it is quite easy to hit a crossbar.
        You generally shoot in the direction you are facing. You can adjust your shot angle using the up and down arrow keys while the space bar is pressed in to set shot strength.
        It is vital to get the power meter in the middle bar in order to be able to get the ball past the goalie.
        In-game bonuses
        The playing field may have in-game bonuses you can run over to activate them.
        Coins give you points which can be used to buy unlockables.
        Other upgrades are hidden inside presents and only reveal what they are after you run into them. Upgrades include: snowball, freeze, miniaturize opponents, bananas (like rotating shells in Mariokart), and a protective shield.
        Audience
        This is a game for all ages and for fans of Cartoon Network shows.
        This game has no adult content.
