How to Play

Play Lightybulb online for free. Lightybulb is a 19-stage electricity logic puzzle game where players must activate switches in the correct order to turn on a light bulb. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Select the orange NEW GAME button on the game’s welcome screen.

        • Use your mouse left click button to activate switches in the correct order.
        • Touchscreen devices
          • Tap the screen with a finger to use a finger like a mouse.

            • There is a control button in the upper right corner which allows you to control game music and sounds.

                • There are around a half dozen different basic level designs.
                • Use any posters in the backgrounds for clues on which order to operate switches in.
                • If you are flipping on/off switches & flip one in the wrong order they will all move to the off position.
                • If you are flipping an on/off switch and time it incorrectly then a red breaker may pop open and need re-closed.

                • Lighty Bulb Walkthrough Level Guides
                  • First stage: flip the light switch up.
                  • Second stage: close the read breaker then turn the light switch on.
                  • Third stage: Turn all odd numbers (1, 3, 5) on while level even numbered switches (2, 4, 6) off.
                  • Fourth stage: Turn on the second, first, then third switches.
                  • Fifth stage: Use the “news” guide on the left and the compass on the right to set the direction of the four round switches.
                    • First switch up.
                    • Second switch right.
                    • Third switch left.
                    • Fourth switch down.
                    • Fifth stage: Repeatedly tap on the lightbulb to screw it in fully before flipping the switch at the bottom.
                    • Sixth stage: Tap the switch on the left when the red breaker on the right indicates power is flowing.
                    • Seventh stage: Turn on the odd switches in ascending order (1, 3, 5), then the even switches in descending order (6, 4, 2).
                    • Eighth stage: Turn up switches in the following order: 3, 1, 4, 2.
                    • Nineth stage: Use the “news” guide on the left and the compass on the right to set the direction of the four round switches.
                      • First switch down.
                      • Second switch left.
                      • Third switch right.
                      • Fourth switch up.
                      • Tenth stage: The switch moves around repeatedly as you click it. You have to click in the upper left part of the stage to turn the real switch on.
                      • Eleventh stage: Flip the red breaker on the left closed & then flip up the light switch in the middle so it is on when the right switch flashes yellow. Each time you will an error you will need to re-close the red breaker on the left.
                      • Twelfth stage: Operate the odd switches in descending order and the even switches in ascending order.
                      • Thirteenth stage: Flip the switches in the following order: 2, 4, 3, 1, 5.
                      • Fourteenth stage: Use the “news” guide on the left and the compass on the right to set the direction of the four round switches.
                        • First switch left.
                        • Second switch up.
                        • Third switch down.
                        • Fourth switch right.
                        • Fifteenth stage: Click the switch at the bottom and drag it out of the way & then flip up the smaller switch which was behind it.
                        • Sixteenth stage: Flip up the red breaker on the left, then after the yellow light blinks wait a fraction of a second and flip up the red breaker on the right, then flip up the light switch as the center red flashes yellow. Each time you make a timing error on the final switch you will have to reset the other switches.
                        • Seventeenth stage: Flip up the odd lights first then the even lights. Use the following order: 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4.
                        • Eighteenth stage: Flip up the switches in the following order: 6, 1, 4, 3, 2, 5.
                        • Nineteenth stage: Use the “news” guide on the left and the compass on the right to set the direction of the four round switches.
                          • First switch down.
                          • Second switch right.
                          • Third switch left.
                          • Fourth switch up.
