How to Play

Play Maze Control online for free. Maze Control is a physics puzzle gravity maze game where players rotate the maze left or right to guide the ball safely out of the maze. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

To begin the game, click the green play arrow button under the logo on the opening screen.
Select level 1 to start playing a new game.
The game is saved on your web browser. If you’ve played several levels, this lets you continue where you left off.
- If you’ve unlocked several levels already, you can replay previous levels anytime.
- Game Controls
  - Mouse and Keyboard
    - Using your mouse, click on the LEFT or RIGHT button located on the bottom of the game to rotate the maze.
    - You may also click on the navigational icon located at the middle bottom part of the screen. Specifically, you can click on the left and right arrows to move the maze.
      - Use whichever controls you’re more comfortable with to roll your ball through the maze with ease.
      - Touchscreen
        
        Tap on the LEFT or RIGHT navigation buttons located at the bottom of the screen to rotate the maze.
        
        Likewise, you may also tap the navigational icon located at the bottom middle part of the screen. This may be harder to control, so it’s best to tap the LEFT or RIGHT buttons for more stable movement.
        
        Other In-Game Controls
        
        In the top right corner of the screen is the “hamburger” icon (red button with three white lines). This allows you to access various in-game option.
        
        The first icon that appears is the Refresh button. Click it to reset your current level.
        
        The second icon is the Level button. Click it to go to the Select Level screen to choose a different level.
        
        The third icon is the home button. Click it to go back to the opening welcome screen.
        
        Controls After Completing a Level
        
        After clearing each level, click the play button below the “Win Level” text to move on to the next level. Or choose from the available options below. The other options you can select are:
        
        Replay Current Level (round arrow button)
        
        Back to Home Screen (home button)
        
        Or choose from other Levels (four white squares button)
        
        Strategy
        
        Rotate the maze and navigate the ball from the start of the course to the end safely.
        
        The game gets harder as you progress through more levels. Sharp objects like stars will hinder your way towards the exit. These traps or obstacles will sometimes be static but are usually moving so they are hard to avoid.
        
        It’s best if you wait for the right time for the sharp object to pass before you move. But move quick enough so the obstacles won’t catch you within its space.
        
        Expect several trials and errors before you finish a hard maze. It requires precise timing and keen hand-eye coordination, so take your time.
        
        The latter levels may require you to maneuver your ball in more clever ways. Take advantage of bounce mechanics on the harder levels to dodge traps. Apply enough momentum and speed on the ball so when it hits a wall, it will bounce a certain way and help you avoid an obstacle.
        
        This game practices patience and critical thinking to figure out how to maneuver the ball in the maze. Ideally, this game should be played at a relaxed pace and with focused concentration.
        
        Enjoy solving puzzles and figuring out how the ball rolls, bounces, or reacts when you rotate the maze and change the center of gravity.
